Home grows will be legal for all medical patients while the government has 6months to create new legislation.

Not all medical only all who are covered under injunction. My paper work is valid for a house I can't grow in but this doesn't mean I can go rent a townhouse and throw thirty plants up. The gvt has 30 days to appeal and 6mo to bring Mmpr into compliance from my understanding

yes, you are correct. those covered under the MMAR injunction that have their licenses to grow can continue to do so for up to the next 6 months or until the new regulations are created.

however, when the new medical marijuana regulations are created it will have to included a provision to allow to home cultivation. This will apply to both MMAR and MMPR patients as they will both have to migrate to the new program.

This sort of gives me anxiety thinking about it as now I have to go through the process with my doctor again to possibly have to fill out more complex paperwork.

Also, what if the new regulations stipulate specialists only as the MMAR did, then I will have to find a specialist that will re approve my need for medical cannabis. this would be unfair. I hope they keep the GPs/Family Doctors as the gatekeepers to the cannabis.

this is certainly frustrating, the bottom line for everyone though should be to maintain access to your meds through whatever means works for you. Dispensaries, homegrown, or lp if that works for you.

Do not let the government or anyone for that matter to make you feel insecure. After all this is about the security of the person and the overbroad and arbitrary infringement. Don't let your life liberty or security of person to be vulnerable to the laws of the land.

Have a nice day everyone and stay medicated hopefully there will be a fair solution sooner than later and hopefully the new system is more accessible and personally I hope patients can do everything their doctor signs off on, even if that means getting meds from lp and growing your own.

5 More months. I hope designated growers are still allowed.

If only I had a new home/garden. All in time. Hopefully the current legislation is amended sooner than later.
